Summer Catch up

Every summer for as long as I can remember I have used the free time I have to catch up on my fun reading. As in reading as much I can for my own pleasure. Ever since high school all I read is for work (school required) so I cram in as much fluff fiction I can during the summer.
My goal this summer is to read twenty books. So far I have read seven, not bad considering I have been really busy doing everything else.
But since I will be having Fridays off from work soon, I plan on spending them in my pool with a book. The essence of summer indeed!
Here is some I have read thus far:

WOW, 20 books? I wish I could do that but I just don't have the time anymore.

I love the Secret Life of Bees! Christopher Moore books are also fun! What a great goal! I'm hoping for 1 by the end of the summer-well, at lease one that's not a children's book!

I've had more than a few folks suggest The Secret Life of Bees to me. Your list looks wonderful and I wish you hours of summer-reading pleasure!

Enjoy!

I have to agree with everyone about the bee book - it's on my short list. Great to hear so many loved it. Can't wait. Since I have vacation time saved up, my plan is to take off Mondays this summer. Maybe I'll put the spinkler on, and it will seem like the beach or pool.

AND I've always loved! your avatar!
