EtsyBlogger Feature February

For the month of Feb us etsybloggers are featuring DonnaPool!
Think of my shop as a place where you can find something traditional...with a twist! All my soft toys and Christmas ornaments are very child-safe and every stitch is made by hand (I don't use a sewing machine).

I used to love looking through old Life and Look magazines my parents and grandparents had saved and I've collected old photography magazines for years. I make my vintage buttons out of recycled images from those because they're like preserving tiny bits of history...a fascinating little peek into the past.
Check out this shop and look at the goodies below!
Aren't these buttons super cool? I think so!

Awesome etsy items

These items make me very inspired, and yes a little jealous. Because I wish that I had thought of them first, but I digress because these items are sooooooo cool!
Funky Junq is cool upcycled stuff created with recycled/repurposed aluminum cans and other stuff.

Help save the planet with this fun eco friendly NECKLACE.

INCLUDES 24" BALL CHAIN

Aluminum is washed and backed with foam so no worries of sharp edges.
Check out FunkyRecycling and find something you love to wear! Just don't buy that one, I want it!

Valentines

I am a hopeless romantic. So I have high expectations for Valentines Day. Granted my expectations never are met, it is still nice to think about it....
Valentine's Day or Saint Valentine's Day is an occasion celebrated on February 14 by many people throughout the world. In the West, it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionery. The holiday is named after two among the numerous Early Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.

I think that Valentines has become somewhat commercialized. In my opinion I want your time not your gifts.
